If you experience issues with graphics after launching your hackintosh desktop chances are you’re using a VGA connector on your motherboard.
I went through it myself, tried installing kexts, messing around with DSDT etc. No forum or tutorial seemed to have a solution. And it turned out it was as simple as getting a DVI-D lead and plugging my display using the digital connector.
Mac OS X doesn’t support VGA hence all the VGA workarounds tend to be tricky.
So before you start tearing your hear out do try the DVI connection and you may be surprise at how many issues it fixes. It fixed my Sleep Mode issues for example. Good luck!
